Need Emergency Assistance?

The Guilford Township Trustee’s Office grants assistance to requests for emergency needs based on a board approved set of guidelines.  Residents of Guilford Township seeking emergency assistance for basic necessities are asked to call (317) 838-0564 to start the process. A complete and current Application for Assistance is required.

If the phone line is busy, please leave a voicemail. Messages left on voicemail will be called back within 24 business hours.

The office will be closed on official holidays and at other times when it is necessary for the township staff to participate in educational programs or seminars conducted by the Indiana Township Association, or other state governmental agencies.

A 24-hour notice will be posted prior to the office being closed for holidays and other special occasions. An electronic answering device is available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week at (317) 838-0564.
